Caesars Palace Las Vegas

So you’re headed to Las Vegas or Atlantic City and you want to be treated like a high roller without actually being one. Luckily it’s possible to do that without spending thousands of dollars gambling by using this guide to achieve Caesars Diamond Status.

The way this works is through a rewards program trick called status matching. Status matching allows you to be granted the same status on a competing company's rewards program because you are already a valued member of another reward program. In this case, Caesars partnered with Wyndham to allow anyone with Diamond status on Wyndham Rewards to achieve Diamond status on Caesars Rewards.

Perks of Caesar Diamond Status

Caesars Diamond Status provides countless ways to make your stay at any Caesar's property cheaper, better, and more efficient. Some of our favorites include:

  • Free or discounted hotel stays
  • 15% off the best available advertised rate on rooms and suites
  • No resort fees on any hotel stay
  • Two free nights at Caesars Palace Dubai
  • Guaranteed Room with 72 hours notice in Atlantic City and Las Vegas
  • Complimentary valet & self-parking at many destinations
  • Gain access to the VIP Laurel Lounge

Caesars Diamond Status Atlantis Perks

Another major perk of Caesars Diamond Status is you can get multiple free nights at Atlantis Paradise Island Bahamas. With a simple Caesars Diamond Status Match you’ll be laying on the beaches of the Atlantis Bahamas resort for just the cost of airfare! The number of free nights you receive depends on the time of year you want to go and includes discounted rates in addition to hundreds of dollars of free slot play. Below are the options for your free yearly stay at the Atlantis Bahamas depending on when you decide to stay:

MonthsFree Nights at The Coral2 Additional Night RatesFree Slot Play
May, September, October, January5 Nights$100 per night$150 free slot play
June, August, November, December4 Nights$100 per night$100 free slot play

Diamond Celebration Dinner

When you’re a diamond status holder with Caesars Rewards you also receive a $100 celebration dinner. Some of our favorite places to spend it are at these highly rated restaurants at Caesars Palace:

1. Restaurant Guy Savoy

For a truly fine dining experience go to Restaurant Guy Savoy and explore fine french dining with signature dishes like Octopus Terrine, artichoke and black truffle soup or colors of Caviar. While $100 won’t go far here it’ll certainly help!

2. Nobu Las Vegas

If you love sushi then head over to Nobu Las Vegas and explore Chef Nobu Matsuhisa’s specialty sushi dishes like the signature black cod with sweet miso in a bite-size piece over garlic chips and ginger in a butter lettuce cup.

3. Gordon Ramsay Hell's Kitchen

If you want to visit the set of the famous tv show and maybe even hear Gordon Ramsay yell that someone is a sandwich then this is the place to head to. While you’re there make sure to get the Beef Wellington and enjoy the melt-in-your-mouth beef experience.

How to Get Caesars Diamond Status with Wyndham Rewards

So you’re intrigued I take it! Well if you already have Wyndham Diamond Status from being a frequent traveler you can go to Wyndham Rewards site and match your status to Caesars Rewards for Caesars Diamond Status. It’s as simple as logging into your Wyndham account and entering your Caesars Rewards number.

The Easiest Way to Achieve Wyndham Diamond Status Today

If you’re not a frequent traveler to Wyndham properties that’s not an issue. There are many ways to achieve Wyndham Diamond Status. The easiest by far is to sign up for Barclay’s Wyndham Rewards Earner Business Card. With the Earner Business Card, you get automatic Diamond Status at Wyndham, and right now the card has a 75,000 Wyndham point sign-up bonus. The sign-up bonus splits into 65,000 points for spending $1,000 in the first 3 months and an additional 10,000 bonus points for having an employee card do a single purchase.

Once you’ve signed up for the credit card and gotten approved you can set up your Wyndham Rewards account and match it to your Caesars rewards account to enjoy all the benefits we’ve mentioned.

Anyone Can Get a Business Credit Card

If you’re worried about the card being a “business” card you should know that you do not need to set up an LLC to be able to apply. Anyone can sign up for it! With all business credit cards, you can apply as a “sole proprietorship”. This just means a type of business that is only yourself and you can use your social security number when applying. The business could be related to you writing a blog (like this one), making pottery with the hope of selling it one day, or if you’re already a freelancer that counts too!

Did They Stop Wyndham Status Matching?

So yes and no. You can still status match existing Wyndham Status to Caesars Rewards but you can no longer status match other hotel rewards programs to Wyndham. Previously you used to be able to do a hotel status match from Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, Choice Hotels, Best Western, IGH, Radisson Rewards, and Omni Select Guest to Wyndham to achieve status. Here’s a list of the previous status match comparisons.

Will Wyndham Hotel Status Matching Come Back?

In the future, Wyndham may bring back status matching from other hotel loyalty programs but it will no longer be a way to get Caesars status. So for example, you can no longer use your automatic Marriott Gold status from the American Express Platinum card to match your way over to Caesars Diamond Status.

Additionally, as of March 24th, 2022 Caesars and Wyndham have added a change to their terms that doesn’t allow Wyndham status achieved through a status match to be used for Caesars Rewards status matching:

You must have earned Tier Status with your current loyalty program in order for your status to be matched. Caesars Rewards will not grant status to WR members who came into the WR program from a tier match promotion with other programs or who previously had recent Caesars Rewards status that was about to expire, and vice versa. 1

This was commonly the way that many people would get Caesars Rewards without ever having to stay at a Wyndham property or have Wyndham credit cards. Additionally, it appears that if you previously achieved Caesars Rewards status by getting Wyndham status with a status match then you will have your Caesars status clawed back.

Get Wyndham Diamond Status and Enjoy the High Roller Life

It's become more difficult to get Caesars Diamond Status but it's still possible! If you don't already have Diamond status at Wyndham go and sign up for the Wyndham Rewards Earner Business Card before your next trip to the strip to enjoy the high roller life and all the discounts this status provides!
